Snare Hunt

25 August 2012

It was decided to arrange and conduct a snare Hunt in the Mount Moreland Conservation area after some residents dogs have been caught and mutilated in such devices. See attached - warning - visuals may upset sensitive viewers.
On Saturday 25 August approximately 30 volunteers arrived to participate in the snare hunt. Bill Fereday an Honorary Officer led the group and we were split up into four teams each designated an area and a time to meet back at the gazebo. Much ground was covered and to our delight no snares were recovered. A rewarding day of walking and exploring for all whom supported this event
