Description:
River banks infested with thick Pepper trees, bug weed, syringa etc. There are only approximately 35% of indigenous trees present, downstream towards N2 gum tree farming. Gum trees recently harvested at main Scary Cliffs no rehabilitation was done and now is just an alien jungle. Cliff face of Scary Cliffs main is dissected horizontally in half by a narrow rocky road trail, cliff face almost vertical. Infested with Triffid, lantana etc.
Lots of streptocarpus, Scadoxis, Kippersol and a variety of indigenous vegetation present. Fish eagles seen often, Jacana, water monitor, rabbit, Vervet monkeys.
 
Action Plan:
Remove aliens from the area and rehabilitate with suitable and complimentary indigenous vegetation. Clean river banks of aliens and rehabilitate where necessary.
Divided into three sections for better management and project implementation.

  Project Area B: Area below Lake Victoria viewing site.
  Project Area C: Lake  Victoria main Barn Swallow roosting site and wetland edge.
  Project Area D: Upper feed to Lake Victoria and entrance section to main reedbed.
  Project Area E: Main entrance area to Mount Moreland village
  Project Area F: Feed to Froggy Pond, drainage contours to be considered.
  Project Area G: Froggy Pond wetland and edging.
  Project Area H: Left of Scary Cliffs bend.
